  • Blueberry pudding cake

Ok I totally thought I had taken a picture for this but apparently I didn't .
I am going to put the complete recipe on here but I am also going to add a link to where I found the recipe.
I got the recipe from Between Loads of Laundry.
She has a great blog and another recipe on there as well.

    Blueberry Or (Peach) Pudding Cake

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries or (sliced peaches)
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

    Topping:
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 cup boiling water

Toss fruit with cinnamon and lemon juice; place in 8" square baking dish. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Stir in milk and butter. Spoon over fruit. Combine sugar and cornstarch; sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over all, slowly. Bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes or until cake tests done. Serves 9.

Pouring the boiling water over the top creates a slightly crisp, glazed effect that is truly delectable.

  • Breads

Here we have at the top 2 loaves of wheat bread and two loaves of white bread. The bottom picture shows the white bread risen but not yet baked.

The white bread was a new recipe I found online Julia Child's White Bread
It makes a very pretty and fluffy white bread.
I still prefer the white bread recipe from Rock Recipes
This is still hands down my favorite white bread recipe to date.
And it is also what I use as a base for my wheat bread.
I follow the recipe replacing 2 cups of the white flour with wheat flour and and 2 tablespoons of gluten.
I use Stone-Buhr  whole wheat flour.

I also have here Cinnamon Raisin Bread.
This is a yeast batter bread. With a 25 min. prep time and a 35 Min. cook time.
Fast ,easy and yummy. Forewarned this is a very thick batter . Uncooked but risen in the pan and then cooked and cut.

I hope you enjoyed today's selections, Leticia
